For qPCR applications such as gene expression analysis, a ValuMix Assay contains one BHQ® probe mixed with two standard PCR primers. Probe to primer ratios can range anywhere from 1:1 to 1:4.5 according to your preference. With delivered amounts of probe starting from 0.5 nmol, ValuMix Assays for gene expression is ideal for high-throughput, nanoliter thermal cyclers such as with digital or array-based qPCR. Genotyping with BHQplus probes
